The Tidewater Soil and Water Conservation District board kicked off its schedule of 2025 meetings last week.
The TSWCD is a political subdivision of the state that serves Gloucester, Mathews and Middlesex counties. Its board is empowered to develop comprehensive programs and plans that conserve and improve the quality of soil and water resources.
Board meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of the month, except November, which is held on the third Thursday. The January, February and March meetings are held at Olivia’s in the Village, Gloucester, beginning at 5 p.m. All other meetings are held at the TSWCD office at 6969 Fox Hunt Lane, Gloucester, beginning at 7:30.
As needed, committee work sessions will begin 30 minutes prior to the monthly board meetings. Those planning to attend a meeting are asked to call 804-699-3482 to confirm the time and location.
