Trimming the tree

To go along with the ongoing Mathews Museum’s Quilt Exhibit, this year’s museum Christmas tree has been decorated by Ginger and Sherry Inabinet, from left. Each of their beautiful, one-of-a-kind, folded fabric ornaments contains as many as 90 pieces of fabric and up to 300 straight pins in a form base. Many of their designs are vintage quilt patterns. The ornaments will be for sale during the holidays and “Made in Mathews” weekends during regular museum hours, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 3.
