The Mathews Outdoor Club hosted its third Micro Triathlon and also a Sprint Distance Triathlon on Saturday at Williams Wharf Landing.
The Micro Tri offered competition in a quarter-mile swim, eight-mile bike ride and two-mile run.
Chris Iacobucci took first in the micro-tri, finding the course in 52:39.8. Following him closely were Ron Myers, second, 55:39.1, and Justin Laign, 59:15.5. Following in fourth was the first female winner, Cheryl Lager, in 50:21.1. Nineteen took part, and 17 completed the course.
The Sprint triathlon included a half-mile swim, 20K bike ride and 5K run. Joel Isley came in first among the six competitors in 1:12:38.6. Second was Canaan Stowe, 1:13:29.3, and third was Fred Tomaszycki, 1:14:14.2.
