Traditional Irish dinner Saturday at Kingston Parish

The Mathews Museum is inviting residents to “come celebrate the Feast of St. Patrick” at a traditional Irish dinner fundraiser at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Kingston Parish House, 320 Main Street, Mathews.
The dinner will include corned beef and cabbage “with all the fixings,” a Leprechaun dessert and an after-dinner Blarney Irish coffee. A wine and beer cash bar will be available, as well.
Entertainment will be provided by an Irish band and Irish dancers, said museum president Tom Robinson. In addition, fine woolen items from Ireland will be offered in a raffle, and there will be items available for purchase in a one-night-only “Irish Shop.”
Tickets are $40 a person and are available at the Mathews County Visitor and Information Center and Mathews Pharmacy downtown and at Haskins Bayside at Port Haywood.
Sponsorships are available for $100 and include two tickets and a recognition in the program.
