Top croquet players to come to Hartfield

Nationally top-ranked croquet players will compete next month in the United States Croquet Association Golf Croquet Nationals at the Chesapeake Bay Croquet Club in Hartfield. The competition begins on Sept. 1.
“Many of the top names in croquet will compete,” said Macey White, CBCC club pro. “This is the largest and most competitive field ever for a national golf croquet event. It marks the first time that this area has hosted a golf croquet event at this high level.”
A field of 56 players from across the nation, including Virginia, will compete from Wednesday, Sept. 1 through Sunday, Sept. 5.
