Todd Michael “Mike” Shannon, age 55, went to heaven on February 24, 2025. Todd was born in Puerto Rico on May 21, 1969, to Aurther and Linda Proctor Shannon. At two weeks old, the family moved back to Gloucester, Va., where he was raised. After graduating high school, four years in the Air Force, and working for various communication companies, he and friend, Larry Lawrence, opened a successful business, Phoenix Communications. After that, he worked for NASA in IT Infrastructure. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking, building and flying remote controled airplanes, and Star Wars memorabilia.

Todd is survived by his bride of almost 29 years, Dawn Barnes Shannon; daughters, Catherine and Nicole Shannon, and his father-in-law, Ralph Barnes.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 15 at Providence Baptist Church, Hayes, Va., officiated by Pastor Nate Varnadore.
