Meredith Timberlake, a Richmond native who hails from North Carolina, has been named Executive Director of Arts on Main in Gloucester.
According to a press release, Timberlake was selected for the position based on her art knowledge, education, and years of business experience in the nonprofit world. She will be responsible for development of classes, events, and fundraising initiatives at Arts on Main, as well as expanding the gallery’s geographical reach with new programs.
“Having just been awarded the $100,000 challenge grant from The Mary Morton Parsons Foundation, the board will rely on her leadership and fundraising skills,” said the gallery’s board of directors chair Lynne Manning. “We welcome her to the team.”
Timberlake most recently served for 13 years as the director of special events and exhibit design as well as chief operating officer of two children’s museums in North Carolina. She also has five years of non-profit art gallery management experience while in Richmond. She...
