A funeral for Tilden Washington Hudgins Jr., 74, of Mathews, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews. He died Wednesday, April 20, 2011.

He was retired as a welder with the Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy L. Hudgins. Survivors include two sons, T. Lewis Hudgins and Reese W. Hudgins. 

The family will receive friends from 6:30-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Gwynn’s Island Cemetery.
