Tidewater Soil and Water Conservation District is partnering with Nick’s Spaghetti and Steak House in Shacklefords to host a breakfast buffet/informational meeting to provide details about the Agricultural Best Management Practices cost share signup.
The signup period runs from July 12 through Aug. 13. The breakfast will be held on the first day of signups, at 8 a.m. on Monday, July 12.
The district administers the Virginia Agricultural Best Management Cost Share program for agricultural producers in Gloucester, Mathews and Middlesex counties.
The VACS program’s goal is to improve water quality in the state’s streams, rivers and the Chesapeake Bay. Any agricultural producer interested in cost share is invited to attend the breakfast.
