The Gloucester County Wetlands Board approved three shoreline improvement applications during a meeting July 10 in the colonial courthouse.
Frederick Carino was given permission to construct an 18" wide by 50’ long concrete wall along the outside of an existing foundation wall of an existing building. The improvements will be made along the beach landward of mean low water at property identified along the York River at the end of Clay Bank Road.
Linda Walthall, permit technician in the Environmental Programs Division of the Gloucester Codes Compliance Office, said that Carino’s application was approved with condition that a 2-foot high by 4-foot wide #1 stone under laid with filter cloth be placed along the north side of building with a revised drawing submitted to county staff.
