The Gloucester Museum of History donated three of its recent publications to the Gloucester Library. The publications donated were “Gloucester County Survey Book 1 1817-1852 Plats,” “Lawyer Walker of Gloucester” and “A History of Gloucester County Public Schools.” All three are in The Virginia Room of the library, Main Street Center.
“The museum and the museum foundation (have) provided these as a resource to the public and we want to make sure that The Virginia Room here at the library has these because it’s important that folks be able to do research and have access to the materials,” said Robert Kelly, director of the Gloucester Museum of History. “This is one of the most important things as far as the museum foundation and the museum both is to make history accessible to the public.”
