All community members, civic organizations and families are invited to attend The Art of Living from 5-7 tonight, Thursday, May 16, at Thomas Hunter Middle School, Mathews.
The program was originally scheduled for March 28, but postponed due to an issue that evening with plumbing in the school.
This free event is a celebration of the elective courses that help bring a wholeness to the educational experience of Thomas Hunter students, a release stated. Art, Music, Physical Education, Technology, and Family and Consumer Sciences students will demonstrate some of the activities and lessons that students have enjoyed in these classes so far this year.
Family Life and Consumer Sciences will provide light fare food options prepared by students. Art will offer a Make and Take craft while there will be musical highlights in the Band Room. Engineering will present interactive exhibits, and Health and Wellness options will be offered in the gymnasium.
