‘The Guinea Man’

Bill Jenkins and the Virginia Mountain Boys will be playing original songs from their new album “The Guinea Man” at a benefit concert for the Guinea Heritage Association at 7 o’clock Saturday at the Buck’s Store Museum on the corner of Guinea and Mark Pine roads in Bena. Tickets are $30 and are available online at www.guineaheritage.org or by contacting a member of the GHA board of directors; a limited number of tickets will be available at the door. Copies of “The Guinea Man” CD will be available for purchase  at the show. The evening will be staged as a 1960s style Barn Dance. Group members include, from left, Clyde Bailey, banjo; Steve Hunley, mandolin; Bill Jenkins, guitar and vocals; Ken Worrell, guitar and vocals, and Joe Gilley, bass fiddle.
