Abingdon Episcopal Church, White Marsh, held its annual free community Thanksgiving meal last Thursday, welcoming guests and treating them to a traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings. For over 25 years Abingdon Episcopal Church has hosted a Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thanksgiving Day. This year, Abingdon was host to 63 guests on site and served 104 meals both on site and to-go. They also delivered 25 meals to Forest View (formerly known as Cary House). Those meals plus the 73 meals that were delivered by Meals on Wheels came to a total of 201 meals served, according to Pamela Reynolds, who helped coordinate the event.
