What I am thankful for: My family. And I would like to express thanks to everyone who prayed for and showed support during the recent accident involving my son Ja’marri, who was hit by a car while getting on the school bus.

We know that it was the quick thinking of those who stopped to assist him and stayed with him to comfort him that led to his quick recovery. We know that God guided everyone to do what was needed and is still carrying all of us, as we couldn’t have done it alone. We would like to thank the Mathews community as a whole for their generous prayers and support. Thank you to my family for being there once again for me, you all are the best!
