Ted Ronald Fisher, age 76, of Hayes, died on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Riverside Regional Medical Center. Ted was a retired truck driver and retired from the United States Army. Ted was very active in his community. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 75 of Gloucester, VFW Post 8252 in Gloucester, and a dedicated Deacon of Gloucester Point Baptist Church. Ted is survived by his wife, Carol; son, Ronald Fisher (Kristine), and granddaughter, Kayla Fisher. Sisters, Virginia Longworth (Michael) and Freida DuBois (Peter); two nephews, William and Alan Longworth, and two nieces, Tami DuBois and Stephanie Slimak, survive Ted as well. The family received friends at Gloucester Point Baptist Church on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, from 11 a.m.-12 p.m., with the service beginning at noon. Pastor Bud Goude officiated. Interment followed at Rosewell Memorial Gardens Cemetery with military honors. Services under the direction of Hogg Funeral Home.
