Gloucester High School social studies teacher Stephanie Vermeire was promoted to assistant principal at GHS by the Gloucester County School Board on March 8. Vermeire teaches government and world history at GHS and will continue her teaching duties through the end of the school year. Also, GHS technology training specialist Wendy Wyatt was named the school’s virtual school administrator. Both appointments were effective March 9.
In addition, Susan A. Rose of Gloucester, was appointed as a speech pathologist at Bethel Elementary School, effective Aug. 18, and Jennifer Favazzo of Gloucester, was appointed as a support employee, effective March 9.
The board accepted resignations from Petsworth Elementary School special education teacher Robin Singleton, Botetourt Elementary School music teacher Melissa Neill and speech pathologist Susan Shires, all effective at the end of the school year.
