Thomas Hunter Middle School got in the holiday spirit last Thursday night, as the school hosted its Tastes, Sights and Sounds of the Season assembly. Family and friends filled the school’s Brooks Auditorium to hear a selection of classic Christmas songs from the sixth and seventh grade Seahawks Bands. Those attending also got a chance to enjoy homemade cookies and cocoa prepared by Michelle Williams’ Family and Consumer Science students. Above, band director Mark Givens conducts the sixth grade Beginning Band students, as they performed “Jingle Bells.” Below, Khloe Jordan, at left, looks to try some of the cookies. The event also included artwork created by Katie Witowski’s students and a robotics demonstration from students in Jason Williams’ classes.
