The Taste of Middlesex Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Deltaville Maritime Museum and Holly Point Nature Park, 287 Jackson Creek Road, Deltaville. The event is free of charge and open to the public, while parking will be $5 per car.
Local food of all types will be featured at the festival, including pulled pork and ribs from the Galley; shrimp salad sandwiches and fried oysters from J&W Seafood; pork fried rice and General Tso’s chicken from Top China; fried chicken from Deltaville Market; and three-meat meatballs and Mezze Bowls from DeltaPie.
Also on the menu will be raisin bread and apple pie from Something Different; meatloaf and Ray’s Chili from Virginia Street Café; Gouda soup and smoked beef brisket tacos from Café by the Bay; Oysters Rock by Chef Jane; crab puffs from Deltaville Tap and Raw Bar; and Bill n’ Randy’s Rocking Chowder by Bill Powell.
