Tails and Tales, the Mathews Memorial Library youth program, came to a conclusion on Thursday, July 29, with participants donning their matching “Tails and Tales” shirts. Participants have met twice weekly since July 6 at the Put-In Creek Pavilion, learning about the natural world they share with creatures large and small. Guest presenters included Jim Drummond, Stan Allen, Liz Hogge and Mary Stephen. Each child participant became a member of the Dr. Doolittle Club and accepted the challenge to be a custodian of the natural world.
