The Tappahannock Art Guild is offering several new classes this year as the group seeks to expand its education offerings for the Tappahannock and Essex community and beyond. Upcoming TAG classes include:
Intro to Watercolor (Feb. 20, Feb. 27, March 6, 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.). Emily Crews will teach this three-week beginner watercolor class. Those with more experience are welcome to refresh their skills and work on their own. This course will cover essential techniques such as washes, glazing, wet-on-wet, dry brush, and more. Participants will also dive into foundation skills such as value, color, and composition. The cost is $75 for three sessions.
Sip and Soul Collage (Feb. 26, 6:30-8:30 p.m.). May-Lily Lee returns to TAG for another fun evening of sipping and tapping into your inner artist through collage. BYOB, $5 fee to attend.
