Students and faculty at Ware Academy donated a dollar each to participate in Tacky Sweater Day. Each year the resulting funds are donated to a charity and this year the $400 donation went to Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue. The donation was made in honor of Ware grandparent Michael Wilson, who has been battling pancreatic cancer. Wilson requested the funds go to GVFR.
