Sylvia Davis Bradford was born on January 10, 1933 in Hallwood, Va. She passed away on September 26, 2023 at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital in Gloucester, Va. Sylvia was a loving wife to Charles Bradford and loving mother to Ellen Diane.

Sylvia was married to Charles on November 3, 1950 in Pocomoke, Md. Shortly after, they relocated to Saluda, Va. They soon moved to Gloucester. They were married for 71 years.

Sylvia loved her native Eastern Shore and hoped to return one day. She was known for her acts of kindness to neighbors and friends.She will be cherished forever.

A Celebration of Life was held on September 29, 2023 at Newington Baptist Church.
Sylvia will finally be returned to the Eastern Shore for her final journey.
