Sylvia Ann Pate, 54, of Wicomico, passed away on Monday, Oct. 6, 2014, in Riverside Walter Reed Hospital. 

She was born in Richmond, Va.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her father, Fred Pate, and is survived by her mother, Priscilla Howell of Wicomico, Va.; brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family will receive friends at Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, Oct. 10, 2014, from 10-11 a.m. with funeral services starting at 11 o’clock. Burial will be in Peninsula Memorial Park, Newport News, at 1 p.m.
