The Society of St. Andrew sponsored a sweet potato bagging event over the weekend at Bethany United Methodist Church in Gloucester Point. Approximately 75 people bagged more than 57,000 pounds of sweet potatoes for distribution to food banks in Gloucester and on the Peninsula.
