Newly-elected Mathews officials took their oaths of office before a packed house during a ceremony held last Wednesday in Mathews Circuit Court at Liberty Square. Judge Jeffrey Shaw (not pictured) swore in clerk of court Beth Brown, after which Brown swore in the remaining officials.
