The Mathews County Board of Supervisors’ monthly meeting, originally scheduled for tonight, has been postponed until the following Thursday, Feb. 27, at 6 p.m. in the historic courthouse on Court Street due to concerns about the approaching snowstorm.
Supervisors will address one item under new business and a number of items under unfinished business at the meeting.
On the agenda under new business is consideration of the appointment of David Biederman as the new building official for the county.
Unfinished business includes discussions of the county’s strategic plan, Hole in the Wall, and a resolution regarding the Hudgins cell tower easement, as well as an amendment to a resolution regarding the acting building official that was adopted after an emergency closed session on Feb. 6.
Additionally, the board will hear a report from Management Advisory Group, Inc., on a class and compensation study for county employees.
