J.C. Hudgins of Mathews got to work early on Saturday, fishing his 85 crab pots in Chesapeake Bay as the sun rose about 7 o’clock. Hudgins said that while quotas and crab pot limits have cramped crabbers a bit, good prices have made up for the squeeze.
