Arts on Main’s free youth summer art camps and workshops are continuing, this week welcoming the first elementary school campers of the summer, who are learning to create self-portraits, read art, and more at the Gloucester gallery.
Middle and high school students will attend the week of July 22, with three openings yet to be filled. Classes are 1-4 p.m. daily from July 22-29.
Additionally, there are still openings for a felt bead-making class being held for youth ages 8 and older from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 27.
To register for any of the classes, camps, and workshops, visit gloucesterartsonmain.org/events or call 804-824-9464.
“We’re so grateful for the many donors and sponsors who enable us to offer these free camps and workshops to the young and aspiring artists in our community,” said a press release. “Happy creating!”
