Sue Walker, 61, of Williamsburg, passed away on Nov. 7, 2011.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Janice Whitehurst; her stepfather, John Crawford, and her stepfather, James Sharpe.

Sue loved people of all ages, but especially enjoyed children. She was a wonderful mother and best friend to her son, James, and wife to her husband, John. She was a hard worker and always stayed busy. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, John Walker; her son, James Mishoe; her niece, Allison Fisher; her stepdaughter, Alethea Dixon (Jamie); her mother, Marci Crawford; her three sisters, Rhonda Paluba (Chuck), Sandra Ridley, and Lisa Fisher (Lynn); her four brothers, Jerry Guner (Nancy), Gary Key (Linda), Ronnie Key, and Paul Sharpe (Elisa), many loved nieces and nephews, and two much loved dogs, Abigail and Rosie.

The family will receive friends on Friday, Nov. 11, from 6-7 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg. A memorial service will begin at 7 p.m.
