This year’s Gloucester County Art Student Show will begin Friday and run through March 14 at the Gloucester Library, Main Street Center, with a reception and awards presentation from 4 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, for the young artists’ families, friends and the Gloucester community.
Sponsored by the Phoenix Art Group, the show will feature arts and crafts by artists aged 5-18 in Gloucester’s public, private and home-schooled systems.
There will be a “People’s Choice Award” of a ribbon, certificate and $25 sponsored by the Phoenix Art Group for the piece of art or craft that receives the most votes from the visiting public. Voting ends at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13.
Local artist Renate Bumgarner will give a special award for the most “Promising Young Artist.”
