The George Nelson Memorial Concert Series of Bethany United Methodist Church continues with the Streets of Gold Gospel Quartet performing at 6 p.m. Saturday at the church, which is located at 1860 Hayes Road, Gloucester Point. Streets of Gold travels throughout central Virginia singing about Jesus and telling the good news of salvation through Christian music, a release said. The group consists of Diane Lane (tenor), Laura Spain (baritone), Charles West (bass) and Steve Wike (lead). Streets of Gold has completed two CD projects and is working on song selections for a third. “Start off the Season of Advent with inspirational singing, praise and worship and celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ,” a church release stated.
