Strawberry moon

Ron Granstra captured this image of the Strawberry moon this past week at Gloucester Point. According to NPR, the popular nickname for the full moon in June comes from the Algonquin tribes. They called it the “Strawberry moon” to mark the peak of ripening strawberries in the northeastern U.S.
