A storm hit the area last Wednesday, March 5, causing businesses to close early, power outages throughout both counties and lots of fallen trees and debris. We asked our Facebook followers how the storm personally affected them. Nearly half of respondents said they dealt with a power outage, followed by almost 20 percent who had an early dismissal from work or school. One person said that they helped neighbors clear a private road of a large fallen tree and another got stuck in the storm in a parent loop while picking up their student from school. Another respondent had to drive in the heavy rain and yet another mentioned that they had a tree fall on their house during the storm. This survey was conducted on Facebook through Google Forms.
