Stephen Blue’s Deltaville Lights, a holiday light display, will open to the public early next month in a field at 16598 General Puller Highway (Route 33), between Mason Realty and J&W Seafood.

“Actual setup/first lights went up first weekend of November, but preparations and repairs started early in the fall,” Blue said. “This year, the display will be about 170,000 lights. It’s the 17th year I’ve done the display at this location, and 24th overall.” Blue started his yearly displays when he was only 12 on the back of his parents’ house.
The display is a walk-thru, but Blue has made sure all of the main paths are over 12’ wide so there’s plenty of room. The “forest of lights” is made up of over 50 steel and PVC trees, ranging in height from 8 to 22 feet.
