Joseph “J” Drexler IV, a rising fourth grader at Achilles Elementary School, spent July 19-22 taking part in the National Youth Leadership Forum: Pathways to STEM in Greensboro, North Carolina. Drexler participated in hands-on workshops, specifically in the STEM strands of engineering, crime scene investigations and medicine. Drexler, the son of Jody and Bobbi Drexler of Gloucester, sees himself as a mathematician and was nominated for the experience by his third grade teacher, Kristen Shook.
