State is working on the main road

The main road from Williams Wharf Lane to Mr. Henry Sibley’s for which State aid has been accepted is being worked this week. Mr. George A. Taylor has been employed by state superintendent, Z.G. Durfey to do the work. Mr. Taylor has done good work in other parts of the county and will doubtless build a substantial thoroughfare.
Eeling seems to be an epidemic around here; even our carpenters have left their trade and gone earnestly at it.
Correspondents who run out of stationery please notify The Journal of the fact by writing “Stationery out” on the communication sent in.
