Richard Miles of Mathews sported patriotic wear just in time for July 4 at the Mathews Farmers’ Market on Saturday. Mary Pope, his co-worker at Riverside Convalescent Center-Mathews, said “He is a man of many hats and suspenders. We never know what he may be sporting when he arrives at work” and that “he has truly kept this facility’s spirits up during a distressing year, ” referring to the pandemic.
