Washington Redskins quarterback Sonny Jurgensen visited Chimney Corner Lawn Mower in Hudgins in May of 1974, as part of a special Wheel Horse promotion. Frank Crittenden, owner of Chimney Corner, said approximately 500 people attended the promotion, where each received a signed photograph of the NFL star. Jurgensen, who played one more year and later was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, signed footballs and provided autographed photos to his local fans.
