Stanley Heywood Jr., 63, of Hayes, died July 14, 2014 at his home.

Stanley spent most of his life working on the water. He enjoyed being a waterman, even though the work was hard, and he loved fishing. He enjoyed hunting and anything to do with the outdoors. Stanley loved his family and was a friend to all.

He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Heywood Sr., and his sister, Linda H. Coates.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Heywood; sons, Eric Heywood and Wayne Heywood and wife Kelly; daughter, Brandy Heywood; his mother, Edna S. Heywood, and five grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 17, 2014, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point.
