Stanley E. Bonniville Sr. of Hayes, Va., born on March 8, 1937, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014.

He worked on the water all of his life and in 1981, he and his wife opened S.E. Bonniville Seafood in Severn, Va., until his retirement in 2007.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Clements and Pauline Jones Bonniville; his brother, Robert A. Haywood, and sister, Virginia Jenkins.

He is survived by his loving wife, whom he married on March 9, 1958, Annie Marie Bonniville; his children, Stanley E. Bonniville Jr. and his wife Mary, Kenneth Lee Bonniville and his wife Cheryl, Anna Marie Hall and her husband Steve, Richard Bonniville, William W. Davis and his wife Sue, William L. Davis and his wife Brenda, Joanne M. West and her husband Robert, and Eston Jarrell, James Haywood, and Joanie A. Robbins and her husband John D.; his siblings, Margie Daoust, James Clements Bonniville Sr., Clarence Elwood Bonniville, Mary Ann Hall, and James Petty Haywood; special family members, Tammy Daoust, James Hudgins Jr., Kenneth Wayne Coates, and Rebecca Bonniville, Estelle Smith, Sue Jones, and Calvin Daoust; 18 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

The family received friends at the funeral home on Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, from 6:30-8 p.m. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial was in Rosewell Memorial Garden.
