St. Therese Roman Catholic Church, Gloucester, will hold “Octave of Service” from Sunday, Sept. 27- Sunday, Oct. 4. Donations will be accepted at the parish during office hours or Mass times.
Prayers for Social Justice will be held Sunday with prayers and Rosary, following the 10:30 a.m. mass to kick off the Octave of Service.
The “CAN Do!” food drive will be held to benefit Bread for Life Food pantry. The canned goods collection will be held in conjunction with the parish picnic on Oct. 4. There will be a raffle for all who have contributed canned goods; two baskets of wine and chocolate will be raffled off. Suggestions of canned goods to contribute include: soups, stews, canned meat (tuna, chicken breast, Spam, corned beef hash, ham), canned pasta meals, canned vegetables, salad dressings, canned fruit, and pork and beans.
