Diggs correspondent reports: Springtime is here again we are glad to say, although we have had a very pleasant winter.
Mr. Elma Morgan gave a delightful oyster roast last Thursday to a few of his friends, and a jollier crowd you could scarcely find.
Mrs. Dollie Owens gave a quilting party at her home last Thursday, everyone present seemed to enjoy the day very much. After the busy fingers had put the last stitch in the lovely quilt we were called to the dining room where a good supper awaited us. The merry party was then entertained for an hour with music and singing by Mrs. Janie Diggs, they then returned to their homes thanking Mrs. Owens for such an enjoyable day. –Brown Eyes
