Spring Clean Day to be held March 22-23

Join Clean Community for Gloucester’s 14th annual Spring Clean Gloucester Day on March 22 and 23. Last year, Gloucester had close to 500 participants, and Clean Community is hoping for a similar turnout this year.
According to a release from Clean Community Coordinator Sherry Kosakowski, Clean Gloucester Day is a way to spruce up the county before visitors arrive for the Gloucester Daffodil Festival, which will be held April 6 and 7 this year.Groups can select a spot to clean up or one can be assigned. Kosakowski said that public spaces like schools and parks are great spots for younger volunteers like scouts and school groups. Any volunteer under 18 must be under adult supervision. More littered areas include intersections along Route 17.
There will be a dumpster set up next to Gloucester County Public Library’s Main Street Center location where participants can drop off material they collect, in addition to the five convenience centers throughout the county.Bags and supplies like ves...
