Halloween spirits were high at Southwind Pizza in Mathews on Saturday as Mathews Main Street Committee members Carolyn Taylor, left, and Bette Dillehay, right, presented an award for the restaurant’s winning Spooky Store Front display. Employees accepting the award were, beginning second from left, Emily Lewis, Megan Jordan, “Ted Bones,” and Nevaeh Smith. Dillehay extended thanks to Mathews merchants who participated in the contest.
