Rob Hudgins and his daughter Kayleigh look over an exhibit of a model of the H.L. Hunley during Saturday’s Southern Heritage Day. The traveling exhibit of the Confederate attack submarine was just one of several attractions at the event, which was hosted by Sons of Confederate Veterans Lane-Armistead Camp 1772 and held in a field across from Thomas Hunter Middle School. The event also featured living history reenactors, period weapons (including a cannon), a Brunswick stew sale and vendors.
