Sons of Serendip will perform selections from their holiday-themed album “Christmas: Beyond the Lights” on Saturday, Dec. 21, in Kilmarnock. The show, hosted by the Rappahannock Foundation for the Arts, starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Lancaster Elementary School Theater, 191 School Street. Theater doors open at 7.
The Billboard-charting quartet is grounded by classical instruments—harp, cello, piano and voice. Pianist Cordaro Rodriguez and lead vocalist Micah Christian founded the quartet in 2014, when they burst onto the national stage as finalists on NBC’s America’s Got Talent.
“We’re in for a true holiday treat with the Sons of Serendip,” said RFA board president Jamie Tucker. “Their performance promises stirring interpretations of pop music and traditional holiday tunes and a unique blend of instruments, all created to share the joy of the season. It’s a performance you don’t want to miss.”
