The Mission and Evangelism Committee of Central United Methodist Church, Mathews, hosted its annual “Songs, Soups, Salads and Sweets” concert and dinner on Sunday. The performances by all the musicians were spectacular and the soup supper was just right for a cold winter night. A free-will donation netted $500 which will be donated to the International Disaster Response Fund of the United Methodist Committee on Relief.
