The Mission and Evangelism Team of Central United Methodist Church, Mathews, is again sponsoring the Songs, Salads, Soups and Sweets (4S) program at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 16. Among others, the program will feature performances by Hunter Owens, Michele Thacker and Tyrone Hudgins. Following the musical performances, church cooks will share homemade soups, along with salads and a variety of desserts. There is no charge for this event; however, donations for local mission projects will be accepted. The public is invited to attend.
