Certified sommelier Michael Diaz has been appointed as the innkeeper at The Inn at Warner Hall in Gloucester. His appointment follows the sale of the restaurant late last year to BluWater Group, an Orlando, Florida-based private equity firm.
A Queens, New York native, Diaz comes to Gloucester from Orlando with a 25-year career in the hospitality and culinary industries, said a press release. His background includes tenure with the Darden family of restaurants, serving at The Capital Grille and Seasons 52, as well as at Eddie V’s in Orlando, Florida, where he “distinguished himself as a craft cocktail bartender and certified trainer” and opened new restaurants in Los Angeles, Dallas, and Fort Lauderdale, said the release.
